while Growing in Grace"
-Matt. 28:19-20, 2 Pet. 3:18
As we continue to celebrate Men this month, I want to share some points from my husband/Pastor’s sermon. A Man after God’s Own Heart is a man that continuously walks with God.
This man has a humble walk that is just and righteous. Humility is having a low estate of one’s importance. He is merciful towards others and always in agreement with God’s promises and plan for his life. Most of all he is a man of Faith.
I know you may say, you can be a good man without going to church. That is a true statement, a man can be naturally good however what makes him wise is being a Man after God’s Own Heart.
Last night, my husband and I went to Macalister’s to get a bite to eat; my husband wore a hat saying “Real Men Pray Every day”. The attendant complimented him and said I want a man that loves Jesus.
We always spend time with those we love and who loves us. Why not spend time with Christ. He loved us so much that He died for our sins. If you are not a Man after God’s Own Heart, consider what He has done for us and consider making Him your choice to serve.
Thank you for sharing….A MOMENT WITH MELISSA!
