while Growing in Grace"
-Matt. 28:19-20, 2 Pet. 3:18
This week I want to spend a moment talking about the significance of a Woman of God. Women are just as significant in the community as they are in the home. Let’s look at the Proverbs 31 woman, better known as, the Virtuous Woman. She was the woman of her house, who took care of her husband, children, and servants. She was also a business woman, who bought fields for vineyards and made clothing to sell in the market. She was a woman who also gave to the needy and poor.
But most of all, she was a woman who feared the Lord. This woman was secure in who she was and who she belonged to. She wasn’t known by her name, but she was known by her works. Every deed she did, was unto the Lord.
As women of God, we have the ability to influence young women who are striving to be women of God. We’ve all had a woman that we admired in the community or church we wanted to be like. You may be that woman to a young lady. We are significant when we are working in our spiritual gifts. We are the women of God in the church who lay on our faces praying for the leaders of the church and community. We are the women of God who encourages others to hold on to God’s unchanging hand. We are the women of God who cooks and feeds the less fortunate. We are the women of God who cleans houses for the elderly.
If you haven’t got it yet; we are SIGNIFICANT WOMEN OF GOD!
You are setting the stage for many of us to strive for significance and strength to NOT settle for anything less…female or male. Blessings upon you beloved of God!
it is my desire to encourage individuals to realize how significant they are in in Christ and through Christ.
I truly prize your function, Wonderful post. adkdddefckeebbdb
