while Growing in Grace"
-Matt. 28:19-20, 2 Pet. 3:18
Good afternoon, let me introduce myself to those who don’t know me, my name is Melissa A. Peck. I am the wife of Pastor Errick Peck of the Citadel Missionary Baptist Church and I am certified in Life Coaching and Human Behavior.
Author, Steve Maraboli once said, “You were put on this earth to achieve your greatest self, to live out your purpose, and to do it courageously.”
My goal is to direct individuals to personal enhancement through communication and knowledge. During my journey of life, I’ve always been driven by those things I am passionate about. Some of my goals, I have achieved and others I’m still striving for. As we share our moment together, I encourage, as well as challenge you to discover your purpose in life and strive to achieve it.
Your purpose is the reason you exist. It is the intended and desired goal for your life. Seek your purpose while on your journey of life.

Hello Melissa, It’s nice to know you. I’ve been waiting for this moment to ask “Who is the First Lady?”
we all have the image of the first lady being the lady who sits on the second or third pew with her Sunday hat on. But that image has changed. The first lady wears multiple hats -the example I strive to be like is the Titus 2 woman as well as the Proverbs 31 woman. Reverent in behavior, not a slanderer, not given to much wine, and a teacher of good things. Encouraging other young women to love their husbands and children, to be discreet and chaste, a homemaker, good, and obedient to their husbands that the word of God may not be blasphemed. Her worth should be priceless; the heart of her husband should safely trust her, that he will have no lack of gain and her children calls her blessed. She is also a servant of God who works diligently beside her husband as well as in her own God-given spiritual gifting. But ultimately, the First Lady is “YOU”. No one can define who the first lady should or should not be. As a First Lady, I strive to carry myself in a Holy and dignified manner. But we all know, It is a process!

Thank you for your words of wisdom, Sir Thomas No Doubt. I will keep those words for inspiration and truth. Yes, as the Israelites had to endure the plagues, so shall we, but I”m believing we shall miss out on the vials of wrath when there is no mercy or room for repentance left. I remember believing I”d get caught up and miss it all, but know better now. We must keep oil in our lamps and prepare to be Holy, for the Lord our God is Holy. How do we as sinners do that? We can only hunger and thirst to be so, and then be humble enough not to forget the price paid on Calvary to cleanse us is the only way we can ever stand. You certainly get that, I can see you find your rest and peace in Him alone. Some, I”ve noticed lately, seem to err in thinking they can strive to repent enough and sin not to get to a state of Holiness, and yes, we must strive to be obedient. However, we ALL fall short and so cannot ever forget it”s by grace and only grace that we wash our robes white by the Blood of the Lamb because our Lord and Savior Yeshuah Hamashiach paid the penalty through His suffering, death, and resurrection!!!! Hallelujah!
