while Growing in Grace"
-Matt. 28:19-20, 2 Pet. 3:18
Now that we’ve shared our thoughts regarding the Significance of Women, I want to share my thoughts regarding the Men of Valor.
Men are the ones who watch over us as fathers, husbands, providers, and priests. Our fathers are the ones who teach us what a man should be like and look like. Our husbands are the ones who covers, protects, and prays for us.
I want to celebrate Men this month for the sacrifices they’ve made for their wives and children. Some of us may not have had the opportunity to grow up with their fathers and had to learn the hard way of what a real man was. I want to celebrate my husband this month for being a husband, father, provider, and priest of our home.
He is a true man of valor. He may not have fought in a physical war, but he’s fought many spiritual wars. He has led with wisdom, he has covered us in prayer, he has provided generously, and lives his life for God. As women, we don’t realize the struggles men go through silently. Having to live up to how society say they should be.
A lot of our men grow up just like us, broken and rejected. They can’t show it because society says men have to be strong. If you have not taken the time to celebrate the special Men in your life, I encourage you to devote this month to celebrating the Men of Valor in your life.
Thank you for sharing…..A MOMENT WITH MELISSA!
